It’s an insomination!

Seriously dude, who the hell decided insomnia was something that could exist?

It’s 1.57a.m on a school night, and here I sit. Awake. Eyelids stuck open. Brain on overdrive. Body exhausted.

Thankyouverymuchlyinsomnia. Not.

I had a ride in an ambulance earlier. I figure that’s what this insomnia shit is about tonight. BJ7 fell down the stairs. Landed smack bang on his back. No cushioning, just his spine against wooden edge of the steps.

The scream every Mother dreads hearing rang out through the building. Then the second volume of it as I had to lift him from the stairs.

Fuck me I was terrified he’d broken his back. I clicked my phone and rang the last dialled number. Fab C. Who came flying over after telling me to ring an ambulance.

Freaky shit.

I am happy to say though, BJ7 is A-O-K. Looks like we’re in for a killer bruise though - which I will of course take some pics of and upload once I figure out how to do that with my phone – and lots of pain – he’s whining in his sleep as I type – A day off school tomorrow, and an on hand supply of Panadol… which is the only reason I got him to sleep even though he was exhausted.

I hate stairs. Always have.

Funny thing is, if Housing NSW didn’t change their bloody forms at the beginning of May we would have been moved into the house today and this would never have happened!

Geez I really gotta try to go to sleep!
